Students on the Good Homes Interior Design Course were invited to meet Anne, Rachael and the magazine team at the Ideal Home Show last month.

They were treated to an exclusive tour of the Good Homes Room-Sets and were able to ask Karen (Editor of Good Homes) how she put the schemes together, what trends she was following and how to achieve the same results in their own room schemes.

“The students were so interested in what we had done,” says Karen. “It was great to meet them and hear their questions”.

Later that day, Anne and Rachael were interviewed by the Good Homes team to find out what they thought of the Room-Sets.

“There was so much to be inspired by,” says Anne. “I loved the sophisticated dining room, fell in love with a chair in the bedroom and thought the block painting and gallery wall in the living room were great”.

Rachael loved the black kitchen and the subtle design choices of using copper and gold together to add warmth to a scheme. She says: “The Good Homes magazine Room-Sets are a fabulous addition to The Ideal Home Show. Visitors can see first-hand what the current interior design trends are. The magazine has styled them so beautifully to inspire you to try a new look in your own home. I loved them”.
