Sally Storey, one of the country’s leading lighting experts, is to visit Cheltenham in the autumn.
Hosted by My Interior Design School, Sally will be giving a talk on ‘Energy Efficient Lighting for the House and Garden’.
Sally Storey is Design Director for John Cullen Lighting and some of her recent projects include The Savoy in London, Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, Hotel du Paris in Montecarlo and The Sandy Lane in Barbados. She is currently working on the Four Seasons in Marrakesh.
She has written 3 books on lighting, has been awarded the prestigious excellence award at the IALD Lighting Design Awards for a private spa.
House & Garden magazine included Sally in its ‘Who’s Who of British Design’ for the end of the millennium – the only lighting designer to be included.
She has appeared on television numerous times, including BBC2’s recent Home series, Channel 4’s Garden Doctors, Des Res as well as Sky and Anglia TV.
During the talk ‘Energy Efficient Lighting for the House and Garden’, Sally will review the latest energy efficient light sources and how to achieve inspirational lighting schemes that complies with them.
Guests will be shown fascinating images of lighting in action – both in the home and garden.
The talk is ideal for anyone with an interest in home styling, interiors or gardens.
‘Energy Efficient Lighting for the House and Garden’ will take place on Wednesday 28th September at The George Hotel, Cheltenham.
Tickets cost £25. Guests can arrive from 6.30pm to enjoy a free glass of wine and the talk will begin at 7.15pm.
