Interior Design Week

A one-week interior design course accredited by City & Guilds

This practical, hands-on course is ideal for those who want to learn the principles of interior design.

During Interior Design Week you will be guided, step-by-step through the key elements of working on two actual design projects: from meeting the client brief, site surveys, drawing to scale, considerations when working with colour and producing your own scheme boards.

Delivered by a professional interior designer and qualified tutor, the course invites a maximum of 10 students – ensuring quality tuition and guidance.

On successful completion of the course, students will gain a City & Guilds award in interior design.

Overview of the week:

  • Understanding interior design principles
  • Colour schemes & how to combine colours successfully
  • Drawing to scale
  • Wall and floorcoverings, soft furnishings & accessories
  • Creating your own scheme boards
